Corporate Yoga Classes




Numerous studies have shown that the benefits of providing on-site fitness programmes in the workplace more than offset their cost by lowering staff turnover, improving alertness levels and productivity, and reducing the number of days lost to stress-related illness. They’re also great for getting people from different departments to socialise, as well as team building in general. 



How does it work?
Classes can be a regular time slot or booked on an ad hoc basis.

In my corporate classes I like to focus on poses that counteract the negative effects of long days sitting at a desk; easing tension in the upper back, shoulders and neck, and relieving tightness in the hip flexors.

Lunchtime classes tend to be more energetic to combat the mid-afternoon slump, whereas evening classes can be more therapeutic and restorative. Modifications will be given and props used as needed to adapt the poses to any level and any body.

Where do the classes take place?
Usually it’s a meeting room with the furniture pushed to the side, or a clear space in an open plan office can work as well. The space is always returned to its original state at the end of the class.

What equipment do we need?
Most people tend to have their own mats or can borrow one, however, if you’re interested in buying a set I can recommend you some options.

How many people can attend?
The more the merrier! I charge a flat rate for any group size.

What if we need to cancel?
Cancellations/changes may be made with no charge as long as at least 24 hours' notice is given.
